The job is based in Macclesfield. You need to be willing to relocate to Macclesfield before starting the job.

Our client is the leading innovator in the composite door industry, with a reputation for building the highest quality doors & cassettes to match the increasing industry demands. Our client also offers a wide range of door & cassette designs appealing to both the commercial and retail sector and is consistently bringing new products to the market.

Salary: £11.50 per hour + overtime

Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (40 hours)

Experience: No experience is required, as long as you’ve got a can-do attitude and are willing to learn!

Requirements:

A safety first mentality and An understanding of health and safety requirements

Experience and a proven history of following SOP’s

A desire to improve efficiency

A ‘can do’ flexible attitude

Willingness to be assigned to other areas of the facility when required.

Reliability, being able to show an excellent timekeeping and attendance record

A day in the life of Production Operative will include a range of tasks depending on the area of manufacturing they are assigned to which includes machining, glazing, paint prep, painting, final processing and quality checking followed by wrapping and packing. Initially you will start your training in one department, from there you have the opportunity to expand and become a multiskilled operative.
